『トンプキンス』と呼ばれるアメリカ製の旧式編み機を使用しています。
通常の編み機と違い、下から上へと向かってゆっくり編むのが構造上の大きな特徴で、生地に掛かるストレスが少ないため、ふっくらとした風合いで柔らかく、ストレスなく体に馴染む素材に仕上がります。

■ディテール
上質なUSコットンを丸胴（脇腹に縫い目のない筒状）に編み立てることでストレスフリーな着心地に仕上げています。
余分な要素をそぎ落としたミニマルなデザインながら、60年代のアーカイブを再現した『親子バインダー』と呼ばれる特殊な衿ぐりの仕様がアクセントになっています。この仕様は、衿ぐりのヨレを防ぐための当時ならではのディティールです。
程よくゆとりのある、インナーとしてもトップスとしても着用できるサイズ感。
60年代のアーカイブをモチーフにしたデザインのパッケージに入ることで、まるでデッドストックかのような雰囲気に仕上げました。

[Healthknit] Introducing the Tompkins Crew Neck Short-Sleeve Tee / Beethoven.

■TOMPKINS Jersey
We use an old-fashioned American knitting machine known as the “Tompkins.”
Unlike standard knitting machines, its key structural feature is that it knits slowly from the bottom up. This minimizes stress on the fabric, resulting in a soft, fluffy texture that drapes comfortably and naturally over the body.

■Details
We knit high-quality US cotton into a seamless tube (a cylinder with no seams at the sides) to ensure a stress-free wearing experience.
While the design is minimalist, stripping away all unnecessary elements, it features a special neckline specification called the “parent-child binder,” which recreates a detail from 1960s archives. This feature is a detail unique to that era, designed to prevent the neckline from sagging.
The fit offers just the right amount of room, allowing it to be worn as both an undershirt and a top.
Packaged in a design inspired by 1960s archives, it gives the piece the feel of deadstock.
