チャンピオンの名品「リバース ウィ―ブ」製法で仕上げられたスウエットシャツ。
生地は、10オンスのフレンチテリ―仕上げで軽くて着心地良く仕上げあり3シーズン愛用頂けます。
(フレンチテリー: パイル地の中でも薄手で、ストレッチ性の高い裏毛素材。)

シルエットじゃ、身幅、肩幅にゆとりを持たせたリラックスフィット。
生地に使用している糸の染料は、インディゴ染料を使用。
「ロープ染色」という染色法により糸の芯が白いまま残っているため、着用を繰り返すうち、デニムと同様に白い部分が少しずつ表に現れるなど、生地の表情の変化を楽しむことができます。
左胸にボディと同色のCロゴ刺繍入り。シーンやシーズンを選ばず着用できるユーティリティアイテムです。

リバースウィーブ製法

championが特許を取得し、キング・オブ・スウェットと呼ばれる契機となったのがリバースウィーブ製法。
発案されたきっかけはある一つの会話からだった。
それは「洗うと縮んで裾が短くなってしまうのはなんとかならないか？」と言うもの。
それなら、と生地の方向を縦横逆にし、更にサイドにリブを入れる事で横方向への縮みにも対応させた。
洗いを入れたら、横に縮みが出て体にフィットします。また、サイドにリブを入れる事で、生地が馴染みます。縦の縮みは出なく解消されたスウェットです。
リバースウェーブの名前の由来は、縦糸が横に走っている事から、名付けられました。
これほどオリジナリティーを持つスウェットは他になく、championと言えばリバースウィーブとすら呼ばれる理由です。



【Champion】Introducing the 10oz Reverse Weave Hooded Sweatshirt.

This sweatshirt is crafted using Champion's signature “Reverse Weave” construction.
The fabric features a 10-ounce French terry finish, offering a lightweight, comfortable feel perfect for three seasons of wear.
(French Terry: A thin, highly stretchy pile fabric with a looped back.)

The silhouette features a relaxed fit with extra room in the chest and shoulders.
The yarn used in the fabric is dyed with indigo dye.
Using the “rope dyeing” method, the core of the yarn remains white. With repeated wear, similar to denim, the white areas gradually appear on the surface, allowing you to enjoy the changing character of the fabric.
Features a C logo embroidery in the same color as the body on the left chest. A versatile item suitable for any occasion or season.

Reverse Weave Construction

Champion patented the Reverse Weave construction, which became the catalyst for its reputation as the King of Sweatshirts.
The idea originated from a single conversation.
It was the question: “Can't we do something about it shrinking and the hem getting shorter when washed?”
So, they reversed the fabric direction vertically and horizontally, and added side ribs to counteract shrinkage in the horizontal direction.
After washing, it shrinks horizontally to fit the body. The side ribs also help the fabric conform. This eliminates vertical shrinkage, creating a sweat that stays true to size.
The name “Reverse Weave” comes from the warp threads running horizontally.
No other sweat shirt boasts such originality, which is why Champion is synonymous with Reverse Weave.
